Over the next year, I’ll be traveling the globe, connecting with changemakers, nonprofiteers, social entrepreneurs, community leaders and business folk who don't accept the world as it is. They see possibility where others only see obstacles.

At its core, my journey is meant to inspire you, by shedding light on innovation that shows things are in fact,  changing.  In my own small way, I want to explore these new belief systems.

New ways of thinking make it clear that profit doesn't need to be made at the expense of social gain. Charity doesn't have to be unsustainable.  It's time that solving social issues becomes a priority rather than an altruistic nice-thing-to-do.

Many of us agree, things are broken. Our institutional systems are not addressing social ills. Wealth disparity is increasing and nonprofits can't find enough funding to keep up with the demand. For-profit companies often have tunnel-vision only seeing their bottom line.  And government bureaucracy only seems to slow social change.

Don't worry, there is good news. There is a growing movement of people who are finding new approaches to solving these problems.

Follow me on my journey while I explore how these principles are put into action around the globe and while I showcase the community of the leaders who make it so. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but I do have a lot of energy.
